Horse Rescue organizations provide shelter, care, rehabilitation and adoption services for abandoned, abused, neglected or unwanted horses. Most horse rescue operations are always looking for volunteers to help care for the horses and provide equine education services to the community to increase awareness about horse care. Most operations are funded through individual donations, grants, bequests and corporate sponsorships.
Most horse rescue organizations are non-profit and are tax-exempt, and are solely supported by contributions from individuals. We encourage you to learn more about these organizations by visiting our Horse Rescue Directory.
