Horse adoption and rescue organizations offer horses a second chance by taking in unwanted and, abused horses and some of them are rescued from slaughter auction houses. These horses are then rehabilitated and are available for adoption to and qualified, caring homes. Most of these organizations are run by volunteers with the dedication and compassion for our equine friends.
Most horse rescue organizations are non-profit and are tax-exempt, and are solely supported by contributions from individuals.
