Our mission is to improve conditions for farm animals. We work primarily in the field, inspecting livestock trucks on highways, visiting markets, collecting stations and slaughter plants.

What started out as a helping hand to just a few horses in need grew to a Way Station for PMU horses coming from Canada through United Pegasus Foundation.  From there we began taking on rescues one at a time, and developing them to get them into new homes..  With  more horses in need coming in , helping out other rescues by taking on and homing horses from feedlot sale yards and auction yards, we were busy. We also started getting calls from racetrack trainers looking to find good homes for their retiring racehorses.  As we started taking those horses on, things started to develop and we became an IRS determined 501(c)3 non-profit animal welfare charity.

The American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign (AWHPC) is dedicated to preserving the American wild horse in viable free-roaming herds for generations to come, as part of our national heritage. Its grassroots efforts are supported by a coalition of over forty organizations.

Wild Horse Observers Association (WHOA) was formed by Placitas, New Mexico community members to protect and preserve the remaining wild horses and their habitats in the areas of Placitas, New Mexico, the state of New Mexico, and all the United States. WHOA supports the preservation of wild horse family units (bands) and herds where they naturally roam.

We pledge our efforts to fund legal challenges against the Governmental agencies that continue to further their programs to eradicate native, American wild horses and burros from their rightful public lands.

EWA is dedicated to ending the slaughter of American Horses and the preservation and protection of our Wild Horses and Burros on public lands.

The non- profit Cloud Foundation is dedicated to preventing the extinction of Cloud’s herd through education, media events and programming, and public involvement.
