California - Horse Directories

Our horses have come to Horses of Tir Na Nog from a variety of sources. Several were PMU foals/mares from Canada, one is a BLM mustang, others were riding horses, and one was a racehorse. All of our horses serve the important role of “ambassadors,” regardless of their ability to be ridden. We invite you to meet our herd here on our WEB Site. Some of their stories will tug at your heart strings. As you get to know our herd, we hope that you will join us in celebrating the unique qualities of each horse. It is the special character of each member of our herd that motivates us on a daily basis.

Welcome to FalconRidge, a non-profit, humane equine organization, sanctuary, rehabilitation and training center for the horse. The average number of rescued horses at any time at FalconRidge is over 50. Hundreds of horses have been saved, trained, housed, or rehomed by the equine charity in the last five years.

Tranquility Farm accepts the donation of Thoroughbred horses from the racetrack and breeding farm, and our goal is to give each horse their best opportunity to find an adoptive home. For those who are not readily adoptable we offer comfortable retirement whenever possible, prioritizing horses that have been significant competitors or producers. Tranquility Farm requests, but does not require, that owners contribute sponsorship to help defray the costs of rehabilitation and retraining. No horse is denied acceptance into Tranquility Farm based upon his owner?s financial contribution.
