Started in 2005, Equine Recline is a non-profit, horse rescue dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and retirement of horses. This is a place for horses to rest, relax, and recoup. Picture if you will a spa with the equine in mind. Our goal is to bring horses out of whatever darkness haunts their lives healing: body, mind, spirit, and soul.

Indiana Horse Rescue was established in 1998 as an equine rescue organization dedicated to preventing unnecessary slaughter, abuse, and neglect of horses. Indiana Horse Rescue joined forces with Animal Protection Coalition, Inc. in 2002 becoming their equine division.

Equine Encore Foundation is a non-profit (501) (c) (3) corporation whose mission is to provide a retirement home for racehorses, both Thoroughbreds and Quarter Horses, who have served the industry well but whose racing careers have come to an end and who deserve to hang up their racing plates and bask in the Arizona sun. As with all rescue operations, the major challenge is funding. We receive support from the industry with our major supporters being CARMA, Thoroughbred Charities of America, Second Call of Turf Paradise in Phoenix, AZ, The Arizona Racing Commission, the Arizona Quarter Racing Association and the Pima County Horsemen’s Association. Support also comes from grateful racehorse owners and fans of the sport. We are working to establish a “social security” system for all racehorses through the racetracks but this is a difficult task. We are hopeful that horse lovers in general and racehorse lovers specifically will help us with their tax-deductible donations. Donations can be made online or mailed directly to us.

California Coastal Horse Rescue, founded in 2000, cares for those horses that no one else will care for. We provide food, shelter, rehabilitation, medical care, and adoption services for horses that have been abused, abandoned or neglected.

A 501(c)3 organization; Panhandle Equine rescue relies solely on donations and volunteers. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and provide adoption services for abused, neglected and abandoned equines. We operate in Escambia County, FL.

J.A.M.E.S. was founded with one purpose in mind – to rescue and provide a safe house for horses in need. We are not breed specific and will accept all equines, regardless of breed, age or condition. Our belief is that every horse deserves a life with proper care, whether it be with J.A.M.E.S. as a retired or companion horse or being placed with a caring, responsible adoptive family.
