We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization serving La Plata County and beyond. We are located in Durango, Colorado. Spring Creek Horse Rescue has been committed to saving equines for over 40 years! We are dedicated to providing a second chance for abused, neglected, outgrown and unwanted equines of all breeds. We are a 100% anti-slaughter rescue that emphasizes the rehabilitation and placement of horses into loving, forever homes.?

Chilly Pepper – Miracle Mustang specializes in CRITICALLY ILL, NEO-NATAL, SICK AND/OR INJURED FOALS. Especially the ones that are near death’s door, needing literally 24/7 care, and they live with us in our nursery until they are strong enough to live outside. Along with this, we rescue other injured or newborn orphan animals as well. We have created a place where injured, special, abused and disabled kids and adults can come and spend the day with us. Visit our petting zoo, meet all of the critters and feel the peace that a visit here brings you. You will treasure the feeling of love, happiness and hope that you will find when you come and spend time with us.

Spirit to be Free is a non-profit animal sanctuary that rescues and rehabs dogs, horses, pigs, cats, goats, and sheep. Most of the animals are strays or abandoned.
